Mike is an accomplished accountant, manager, and entrepreneur. He has held a range of senior accounting and finance positions in corporations including Future Shop, McDonalds, Fletcher Challenge, and more. Mike is a highly regarded Instructor in the Selkirk College School of Business. He serves as Board Chair of Kootenay Savings Credit Union and has been a highly active member of the Trail sport community in both board and coaching roles.
In addition to accounting, Mike founded and owns the Trail Beer Company. A lifelong athlete, he participated in a wide range of sports growing up, and recently completed his 10th Ironman triathlon. He lives in Trail with his wife Sheri and daughter who swam at a BC games level while his son attends university and pursues is sporting dreams as an international level triathlete.
