High Performance
In partnership with the Canadian Sport Institute, we are part of a network of regional centres across the province that is creating a stronger system for the development of athletes, coaches, integrated support teams, and sport performance facilities.
Grassroots & Community Sport
With sport participation, physical activity, and the general health of the population on the decline, PacificSport Columbia Basin is mobilizing positive change. Our purpose is to champion quality sport experiences and opportunities for physically active living – we do this by supporting capacity growth within municipalities, school districts, and community sport organizations.
Member of the Regional Alliance
PacificSport Columbia is funded by investments from the Province of British Columbia through viaSport, and is a member of the Regional Alliance— a collective of provincial sport-delivery organizations passionate about enriching lives and energizing communities via sport. Each organization delivers exceptional programming ensuring all British Columbians receive quality options to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
Like PacificSport, these organizations are leaders in coach development, physical literacy, and inclusion initiatives. They are advocates within their communities ensuring that their residents have equitable access to quality sport and physical activity opportunities. This means trained coaches, inclusive programs and services and a variety of introductory programs to help make first experiences positive ones.
