We are very excited to announce Kootenay Health Services in Nelson as a Pacificsport Columbia Basin SportHealth and Gymworks Partner. Kootenay Health Services Inc. (KHS) is a group of highly experienced health professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based services in the areas of health, fitness, and rehabilitation to individuals who have experienced injury, disease, or disability.

KHS is a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Athletic Therapists, Hand Therapists, Ergonomists, Acupuncturist, a Sports Medicine Physician, a Psychologist, and Support Staff. Due to the multifaceted nature of the services, KHS serves the large geographical area of the East and West Kootenays.
The KHS Clinic is a 5500 square foot facility, well equipped with designated assessment areas, private treatment rooms, private gym and shower facilities, assessment tools, and innovative treatment modalities

KHS will work closely with targeted athletes registered with PacificSport Columbia Basin to provide services for physiotherapy services and receive expedited access to services depending on availability. Athletes will be able to utilize the gym space for free around other user groups and should phone ahead to determine availability.
The SportHealth Partner is a program that provides registered high-performance athletes and coaches with discounted treatment services at over 65 facilities across BC. The GymWorks program provides access to over 175 strength & conditioning facilities, training facilities, and swimming pools across BC to help reduce daily training costs anywhere in the province.
