IGNITE Information Session June 23 2026

You’re invited: IGNITE Athlete Development Information Session June 23, 2026IGNITE Information Session June 23 2026

If you have a competitive young athlete at home, you’ve likely seen the moment it clicks. The season where they stop just playing their sport and start training for it. IGNITE is built for that moment.

PacificSport Columbia Basin is hosting a free online information session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 7-8 pm PST / 8-9 pm MST. The session is open to parents, athletes ages 13 to 17, and coaches who want to learn more about the IGNITE Athlete Development Program coming to the Columbia Basin for September 8, 2026.

What Is IGNITE?

IGNITE is a structured youth strength and conditioning program for competitive athletes ages 13 to 17. It runs across the Columbia Basin communities. The program is delivered by certified coaches and grounded in a curriculum trusted by Canadian National Team athletes.

The focus is on building the physical foundation athletes need to perform with confidence across any sport and any season. Speed mechanics, movement literacy, strength and agility training, and dry land training principles are all part of the program. IGNITE runs alongside your athlete’s existing sport commitments, not instead of them.

Two pathways are available. Foundations is designed for athletes who are newer to structured strength and conditioning.  After completion of Foundations comes Aspire for athletes ready to train at a higher intensity. Both pathways are coached, structured, and built around long-term athlete development principles.

The Fall 2026 cohort starts September 8, 2026. Registration opens June 24, 2026, with early-bird pricing available June 24 to 30. Spaces are limited in each community.
