Graeme Lehman
IGNITE Head Coach, Kimberley. Delivering structured youth strength and conditioning at Purcell Collegiate School for competitive athletes ages 13 to 17.
Graeme Lehman
Graeme Lehman brings a sport science-driven and athlete-centred approach to the IGNITE Athlete Development Program in Kimberley. With a background in strength and conditioning, gymnastics, speed development, and sport performance, Graeme helps athletes build the physical qualities they need to perform with confidence and purpose.
Graeme's coaching philosophy is centred on guiding each athlete down their own unique path in the most effective way possible. Through detailed physical assessments, individualized programming, and evidence-based training methods, he helps athletes develop strength, speed, coordination, and movement skills that transfer directly into sport.
He also believes strongly in the value of multi-sport development. His coaching background across several sports allows him to support athletes as whole movers, not just as athletes in one discipline. Graeme's goal is to help young athletes build strong foundations, understand their bodies, and feel supported as they work toward the next level.
Graeme holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science and has 20 years of experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also holds coaching certifications through the National Coaching Certification Program in tennis, volleyball, and soccer. His coaching background includes strength and conditioning, gymnastics, speed development, individualized athlete programming, and sport performance training.
Outside of coaching, Graeme enjoys skiing and golfing, which makes Kimberley the perfect place to call home.
"The best thing about coaching IGNITE is giving young athletes the guidance, support, and confidence that can make a real difference in their development."Graeme Lehman, IGNITE Head Coach, Kimberley

The physical foundation every sport is built on.
Kimberley's competitive athletes are putting in the work every season. IGNITE gives them the physical platform to go further with it. Structured, twice-weekly sessions that build strength, speed, coordination, and movement quality across every sport, every season.
Built for Competitive Athletes
Designed for athletes already competing in hockey, skiing, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and more. IGNITE complements team practice rather than competing with it, and the physical gains carry across every sport on your athlete's schedule.
Coached the Right Way
Graeme Lehman delivers the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific curriculum at every session. Technique comes before load, quality before quantity. Athletes learn to move correctly first, which reduces injury risk and builds the kind of confidence that shows up in competition.
Local, Right Here in Kimberley
Delivered at Purcell Collegiate School, bringing high-quality athlete development to the Kimberley community. Graeme Lehman knows what local athletes are training toward, and has built a program that reflects it.
A Pathway, Not Just a Program
IGNITE is structured across progressive stages: Foundations, Aspire, and Perform. Athletes who start in Fall 2026 could follow the full pathway, with priority registration access at each stage along the way.
Built for athletes across every sport.
IGNITE is not designed for one sport. The physical foundations of strength, speed, coordination, and movement quality carry across every discipline your athlete competes in. Currently supporting athletes in 15 or more sports, including:
