June 5

Provided by: Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) / Paralympic Foundation of Canada
Description:
Paralympic Sport Discovery Days grants support sport organizations in hosting high-quality athlete identification events. These events give individuals with a disability the opportunity to explore Para sport, connect with programs, and take their next steps in sport.
This grant is designed to address a critical gap in Canada’s Para sport system: athlete identification, recruitment, and transfer into Para sport programs.
Funding may support:
- Athlete identification and recruitment events
- Discovery and try-sport days for people with a disability
- Connecting prospective Para athletes with existing programs and pathways
Who can apply? Local sport organizations, provincial sport organizations, national sport organizations, universities, colleges, and sport-based non-profits and charities.
Best Fit for Basin Organizations? Medium–High. If your club or organization could host a Para sport try-out or discovery day, this grant could help cover the costs. A great fit for organizations wanting to grow inclusive sport program.ming in the region
Typical Funding: Part of a combined $280,000 pool across both new CPC programs for 2026.
Deadline: June 5, 2026
